- Brayton Rd. - Downed Power Line -
A fast moving rapidly developing thunderstorm struck Mt. Morris on August 3rd, 2004. The storm knocked down several tree limbs and some power lines. On of which was at the intersection of Brayton Rd. and Fletcher St. Firefighters secured the area until ComEd employees could arrive and mitigate the problem.
