- Pines Rd. & Devil's Backbone Rd. - Two Vehicle Accident -
On July 29, 2007 at 12:07 the Mt. Morris Ambulance responded Mutual Aid with Oregon Fire for a two vehicle head-on accident. Upon arrival of 5391 he advised that extrication was needed. Mt. Morris 1-F-25 arrived on scene and found two vehicles both upright on their wheels, both with heavy front end damage. Crews quickly extricated the victims. REACT Helicopter was also called to the scene. 1-F-25 remained on the scene for about an hour and a half. Polo Ambulance was also called to the scene, however was cancelled while enroute. We were assisted on the scene by the Oregon Fire Department, Oregon Police Department, Ogle County Sheriff's Department, REACT Helicopter, and the Ogle County Coroner's Office.
