- Mt. Morris Fire Responds Mutual Aid with Polo for a Structure Fire -
On Aug. 27th 2007 Mt. Morris responded on a second alarm MABAS box to Polo Fire at 13399 W. IL State Rte 64 for a structure fire. Mt. Morris responded with a Tender Co. a Chief and a Heavy Rescue as a R.I.T. (Rapid Intervention Team). Mt. Morris operated at the scene for several hours assisting with suppression and over haul duties.
